Product Description

Using just the ground bass from Pachelbel's canon, this freely composed setting of the 'Agnus Dei' text is flexible both in voicing and instrumentation. (The digital audio clip plays from page three to the end.) This music can be performed as a unison piece with optional descant if there are sufficient voices. It can also be a two part mixed choir piece, and where instruments are not available, it can easily be accompanied on most keyboard instruments. This music can be used as part of the liturgy or as a stand-alone anthem/motet.
