Country is not my usual composing or playing style. However, on the morning that I composed "Easy Country Living," I got into a country groove. I was in a really good mood and I started playing some Floyd Cramer licks over a left hand ostinato bass line. It came together very easily and in a very short period of time. I have always admired the Nashville sound that Floyd Cramer helped to create with his "slip note" piano style.
This is the sheet music for "Easy Country Living", from the Solo Piano Space Traveler album, and was released on August 5, 2019.
Recorded at the Peace Palace from February - April, 2019.
