"The First Noel" is a traditional classical English Christmas carol, most likely from the early modern period, although possibly earlier. Noel is an Early Modern English synonym of "Christmas"

The First Noel is arranged for Brass Quintet, i.e. 2 Trumpets; Horn in F (with a substitute in E Flat); Euphonium in Bass clef (with a substitute in Treble clef) and a Tuba in Bass (with a substitute in E Flat and B Flat).
