Product Description

Originally for keyboard, these sinfonias, often played on organ, work very well for modern brass instruments. In some cases, octave displacements or key changes are necessary to accommodate the range of these instruments, but these changes do not change the character of Bachs music. Original Keys are noted when changed. Tempi are suggested from an organ transcription, and should be taken as a reference. These should be played at tempi that make sense for the brass trio. This transcription is for the Central Alberta Chamber Players. Substitute parts for Bb trumpet in place of C Trumpet, and Bb and C trumpet in place of Horn in F.
