Based on the Lyra Davidica Easter Hymn 1708, same as " Jesus Christ Is Risen Today" but different lyrics. Scored for Two Trumpets in Bb, Horn in F, Trombone, Tuba, Descant, SATB and/or Congregation, and Organ with optional Timpani. Performance 4 minutes.  Events: Easter services. The choir carries the usual harmonization with support from the organ, a descant on the last verse, and added embellishments by the brass. The brass parts are scored for intermediate instrumentalists.
