Product Description

"Scarborough Fair" is a traditional English folk song from the Middle Ages, referring to an old fair in Scarborough, Yorkshire. As a market fair, comprising of traders, merchants and other vendors, it started sometime in the 14th century and used to take place until the 18th century. The melody is in Dorian mode and is very typical of the Middle English period.

This straightforward but useful arrangement is for a Flexible Saxophone Sextet with an optional part for Piano/Harp (Chorded).

The Descant part is doubled by both a Soprano and Alto Saxophone 1 part. Melody on Alto Saxophone 2. Harmony parts for Alto and Tenor Saxophones on parts 3 and 4 - A Tenor Saxophone Part 5 comes in a "High" and "Low" version. Baritone and Bass Saxophone double on the Bassline

The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer 3
