Product Description

Delight your audiences with this fresh, new trumpet duet arrangement of one of the most popular Christmas carols, The First Noel.

This arrangement of The First Noel is a trumpet Christmas duet following the style already established in Eddie Lewis' Trumpet Hymn Duets, which have been published in book form under that title. The objective of this trumpet duet was to honor the mood and harmonies of the original Christmas carol.

This arrangement begins in the key of E (D concert). There is a short interlude in C (Bb concert), then the second and last verse is in F (Eb concert). It ends with an "Amen" that incorporates the main motif of the song. The total duration is just under three minutes.

The range in the first part is up to B flat above the staff. The range of the second part is up to G above the staff. This puts it in our Trumpet Apprentice skill level.

This arrangement of The First Noel is perfect for any event that requires Christmas music. It is 100% appropriate for church and could just as easily be used in school concerts or as background music at a mall.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
