Hogsback is a small town in South Africa where J. R. R. Tolkien spent his childhood. He claimed that his time living in South Africa was partly an inspiration for his Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books.

Eddie Lewis spent a short time in Hogsback in July of 2016 with family and this composition was created using inspirations he recorded while he was there.
