I try to do a little bit of composing every morning, even though I'm not a full time composer. But sometimes I don't "feel like" writing music. One morning, when I had just completed a major project and was ready to begin working on a new one, I was feeling very sad. I did my writing, but when it came time to name the file, I just typed the three letter word that I was feeling at the time...."SAD".

Later, when I was feeling more cheerful, I used those three letters for the title of this piece, Salvation and Deliverance. I am rarely sad and it was fitting that I capture this transformation back to normalcy and give it the appropriate title.
