Often heard on Nine Lessons and Carols broadcasts from Kings College, Cambridge, and originally for choir and solo, this is an arrangement of Harold Darke's beloved setting of In The Bleak Midwinter for or soprano or tenor solo, with violin or flute obbligato and accompaniment on organ or piano. The MIDI recording is with violin and piano. It would be suitable anytime in the Advent and Christmas season, in church services or recitals.
