Product Description

This is a medley of two old English carols, The Holly and The Ivy and I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In, in a jazz style arrangement. It was originally part of the two volume clarinet collection, Carols For The King From Around The World, also available at Sheet Music Press. For advanced intermediate performers, this is sheer fun from start to finish, and very suitable for Christmas concerts. The opening measures can be omitted, and the song commence where the piano enters. The piano left hand plays a "walking bass" throughout and can be performed with a double bass player, as in the recording provided - contact me for the extracted part, or if interested in a recorded piano accompaniment.
