Product Description

La golondrina (Spanish: "The Swallow") is a song written in 1862 by Mexican physician Narciso Serradell Sevilla (1843-1910), who at the time was exiled toFrance due to the French intervention in Mexico. The Spanish lyrics uses the image of a migrating swallow to evoke sentiments of longing for the homeland. It became the signature song of the exiled Mexicans.
This arrangement of Mexican Music for string quartet has a harp lead sheet for weddings and other settings. Nice for wedding prelude, ceremony or reception. This is a popular Mariachi song with tight harmonies and the tremolo section evokes guitars and mandolins.
