Anton Reicha (1770-1836) a contemporary of Beethoven wrote 24 trios (op 82) in the French style -- originally for three horns. Nice ensemble sound (tonal). Each volume has six of these trios. Volume 2 has trios (7 - 12) all in the key of F major or F minor. Early Romantic style. Full compositions. These can be played by 3 trumpets, horns, 3 trombones or any combination. Part three also has an optional tuba part.
