Abkhazia is an autonomous area of Georgia. It declared independence July 23, 1992, which has been recognized only by Russia and a few other states. The anthem remains in use solely by the separatist government. The author of the lyrics, Gennady Alamia, is an Abkhaz poet and leader of the Social-Democratic Party of Abkhazia.
Aiaaira (Аиааира, Abkhazian victory) is the national anthem of Abkhazia . Was adopted in 1992. The letter was written by Gennady Alamia , and the music was composed by Valera Çkaduwa.
