A cracking and highly popular arrangement for classical Brass Quintet of the ''Battle Hymn of the Republic'' (''Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory'') A very tight chart with the melody passed around the ensemble to the Horn & Trombone. A great solo in the middle for 1st Trumpet in a Warren Vache style. One of my all time favourite exponents of the Trumpet/Cornet. After the solo interlude, the texture changes and key changes; and there is some polyphony between the Horn & Trombone. To conclude there is another modulation a tone higher bringing the chart to a peaceful ending.
