Product Description
Momotaro A Tale of Bravery is a retelling of the famous Japanese folktale "Momotaro the Peach Boy." This
Children's Musical for ages 5-9 calls for elements of Kibuki stylizations. The music is built around
the pentatonic scale with western musical theater sensibilities. The main idea
of the show is to reveal the Hero (Momotaro) as the real
treasure. The Director's
Script (31 pages) contains stage directions, suggestions for costuming, scenery, props, and choreography, Warm-ups and Acting games.
Additional: The Production Kit (19 pages) includes Booklet Script, Song Sheets, Coloring Activity Page, foldable Invitation, and Performance License for two shows, and the Piano/Vocal Score downloadable in two groups: Part 1 (24 pages) Part 2 (26 pages) are valuable production guides and should be purchased and downloaded from SMP Press separately. Accompaniment Mp3s are also available for individual purchase from SheetMusicPlus.
