Phil Collins recorded a version of it, Jenna Ushkowitz (from Glee), and most recently Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake sang a beautiful duet of this piece for the soundtrack "Trolls"

True Colors makes a beautiful piano solo. This advanced solo has some complicated rhythms--dotted rhythms and syncopation, as well as full chords (octave reach) and interesting harmonies. It should be played expressively with attention to dynamics and phrasing. Pedal is left to the discretion of the performer.
