This collection includes nine familiar Christmas favorites: Up on the Housetop; God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen; Auld Lang Syne; I Saw Three Ships; Carol of the Bells; Over the River and Through the Wood; Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy; The First Noel; and What Child is This. These arrangements are appropriate for pianists in levels 2-3 of most method books; included are songs in the keys of C, F, G, and D major and A, D, and E minor, as well as 4/4, 3/4, and 6/8 time. The accompanying video contains a sheet music and audio sample of each piece.

Composer and arranger Chrissy Ricker is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) with a Master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy. Chrissy enjoys composing and arranging music to motivate and challenge students of all ages. In addition to the works she publishes through SMP Press, Chrissy's piano music is also published by Neil A. Kjos Music Company, Piano Pronto Publishing, and Musicnotes. Her music has appeared on the piano contest lists of many state and national teaching associations, including the National Federation of Music Clubs.
