This old hymn is most often sung to the tune LANCASHIRE, which was written in 1835 by Henry T. Smart for the 300th anniversary of the Reformation in England, held in Blackburn, Lancashire. This splendid hymn is most often sung for Easter, however as an instrumental, it is suitable for any Sunday service.
