Firebird was an enormous success when it premiered in 1910, and it remains a favorite concert piece even today. The hauntingly beautiful Berceuse (lullaby) is followed by the triumphant Finale. Perfect for any recital, concert or Pops program. This arrangement is scored for 10-part brass ensemble (422.11), but you can also play the Euphonium part on Bass Trombone or even Tuba (which would make it scored for a double brass quintet, the version heard in the sample audio).
