Product Description

This arrangement is part of the Chicago Gargoyle Brass and Organ Ensemble "Signature Series."

Ravel wrote the Pavane when he was just 24, but it already had the unmistakable sound of impressionism, which would become his musical style. Ravel's gift for exquisite melody and colorful harmony is on full display. The Pavane quickly became very popular, and it remains popular even today. This is a beautiful addition to the brass and organ literature. Très beau! This arrangement comes with alternate C and D parts for trumpet 1, and an alternate C part for trumpet 2. Performance time, 5:30. Published by Dorm 40 Music, www.dorm40music.com
