As a teacher, I tend to like to use Rieding's Concerto Op.35 with pupils. The Opus 35 concerto if such a great play that I think the Opus 36 concerto can get a little overlooked.

The Opus 36 in D major can all be played in the first position. I particularly like the second movement, such a lovely opening. The last movement zips along nicely with the need of some secure bowing.
