Theme from Munsters
Music by Jack Marshall and Robert Mosher
Program Notes
Theme from Munsters is the theme song from The Munsters television sitcom that originally aired from 1964-1966. The show was a satire of monster movies of the era, as well as a family situation comedy. It aired during the same era as the similarly macabre-themed The Addams Family. The theme was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1965 and a portion of the theme was used in the song "Uma Thurman" by Fall Out Boy.
This song has an upbeat jazz feel, and would be a great addition to a Halloween-themed program.
