From Book 6 of Bartok's Mikrokosomos, Dances in Bulgarian Rhythms arranged for Wind Quintet. When Bartok composed the dances he was inspired by the works of George Gershwin jazz style. These dances are ideal for the advanced ensemble with all of them exploring interesting rhythmic patterns and unusual tonality.
