Product Description

In the Bleak Midwinter is a gorgeous Christmas carol, written in 1906 (music by Gustav Holst) and put to a poem written by Christina Rossetti that was published in 1872. This hymn tells of Jesus' birth in the bleak midwinter, and the angels and cherubim worshipping Him along with His mother, the shepherds and wise men. This beautiful piano arrangement is for advanced intermediate level and is great for church preludes, special music, or just your own home setting. The right hand includes melody with the up-stems and accompaniment with down-stems; be sure and stress the melody notes above the accompaniment. Arranged by Amy J. Snyder.
