Product Description

Whoo, whoo! Hear that train whistle blowing? The Union Pacific Railroad Rag is a fun, late intermediate level piano solo that will keep those toes tapping! It was an exciting time in America's history back in 1869, when the race was on between the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific Railroad. They met at Promontory Summit, Utah thus creating the first transcontinental railroad in North America. This piece is in G minor, and contains fingering, triplets, moving 3rds, chords that will sound like a train whistle, and tremolo at the end for a great finish. This is a great piece for recitals or Assisted Living performances, or just for fun. Copyright 2012 by Amy J. Snyder.
