Product Description

Originally published in 1853 as "Méditation sur le Premier Prélude de Piano de J. S. Bach," the Ave Maria text was set to Gounod's melody and has entered the repertory (including the "rogue" measure between the bass's F# and Ab that lead to the final dominant prolongation). This arrangement, for 5-octave Handbell Choir, is dedicated to "The Bells of St. Mary" Handbell Choir of St. Mary Catholic Church, Wayne, Michigan, Dr. Richard Schneider, director.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
