Product Description

Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania (The Groundhog Day Song)
Unison w/Piano Accompaniment

This quick & easy Groundhog Day song tells the short story of the holiday!
Use as a warmup or as an introduction to teach chromatics.

In the United States, Groundhog Day is celebrated every year on February 2nd.
If it is cloudy when a groundhog peeks out from its burrow on this day,
folklore says that spring will come early. If it is sunny, the groundhog is supposed to see
its shadow and go back into its burrow, and the winter weather will continue for six more weeks.
The "official" groundhogs were given names, just as listed in the song!
