Product Description

This well-known melody is frequently heard during the Lenten season. The text is Martin Luther's adaptation of Psalm 130. The music has been edited from a chorale believed to be by Luther or his friend Johann Walther which was later harmonized by Hans Leo Hassler. This is the first piece in the arranger's collection of "Six Anthems for Lent and Holy Week." The introduction includes material from other pieces in the collection and may be omitted if desired.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
