Product Description

This Passion chorale may be performed in many different ways. It may be sung a capella or with organ accompaniment as written. It may also be accompanied by a string ensemble. The chorale melody may be sung as a solo or by a children's choir with sopranos singing the 1st alto part. The melody may also be doubled by a solo instrument. It may also be sung totally as a vocal solo with the organ (or strings) providing the choral accompaniment. The piece may also work well as an organ solo. The interpreter is left to using his/her discretionary imagination. This setting has expanded voicings. It is also available with reduced vocal parts. Both settings feature major/minor harmonic juxtaposition with occasional dissonance. This piece is the second of the composer's Six Anthems for Lent and Holy Week.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
