Product Description

My Grandfather's Clock is written for two octave bell choir with an optional part for woodblocks, tic tock block or 2 temple blocks. It uses 16 bells from a standard two octave set of handbells, tone chimes, hand chimes or belle plates. It is perfectly suited for students who have at least a half year of bell playing experience. This piece contains a few repeated 16th notes and demands careful reading, but there are no special techniques or difficult rhythms used. Written by Henry Clay Work in the 1870's, it is an excellent example of Americana music from the era of George F Root & Stephen Foster.

Like most of my public domain arrangements, this is a reproducible product. This piece may be purchased as a score for one performing group, and copies made for the members of that one performing group. Save money and space while allowing for more flexibility in annotating from year to year.
