Jesus spoke in parables to those who followed him.
Seeking truth, they marveled oft; their meanings often dim.
"Give me ears to hear thy word. Give me eyes to see.
Grant my heart and mind to know of thy mysteries."
Prophets speak Gods will for us while mists of darkness blind.
Keeping covnants daily, He reveals his truths to find.
Holding to the iron rod, leading to the tree;
Grant my heart and mind to know of thy will for me.
Sacred temples dot our lands, foreseen in times long past.
Truth declared through priesthood powr now binds our hearts
at last.
Fathers speak from dust in love, Mothers seek in prayer.
Grant my heart and mind to know those who covnant there.
In this world of sin and dark, the Light shines all around.
Angels minister in love; lost souls are daily found.
Heading my dear Shepherds voice, "Child, come follow me."
Grant my heart and mind to know Grace eternally.
