My mother and father both taught me to pray.
Give thanks to My Father in Heaven each day,
And ask Him for blessings to help me be good,
To walk like The Savior, and do as I should.
When I have a problem and don't know what's right,
I pray that The Father will lead me to light.
And if I am faithful and patient and kind,
He answers my prayer in my heart and my mind.
I cant hear His voice and I dont see His hand,
But each time He answers I still understand.
I feel of His presence and know He is there.
I feel of His love when He answers my prayer.
