In reverence, I lift my voice in prayer to God.
I thank Him for the gift of life, for the beauty of this earth.
I thank Him for friends and family,
And seek to know His will for me.
In weakness, I humbly seek to find Thy grace.
I try to cover up my shame, but no tears can wash my stain.
All hope lies in He whose hands are scarred;
Without Him my way home is barred.
In sorrow, I seek to know His purposes.
I ask for strength to bear my cross, if it can't be swept away.
My pleadings will rise to loving ears,
And strength from weakness now appears.
In gladness, I glorify my Father, God.
I praise Him for His faithful Son, who has giv'n His life for me.
All honor and glory be to Thee,
Thy servant I will always be.
