Product Description
An original hymn with text below by Mark Fotheringham.
Jesus fell to His knees in Gethsemane to plead and to pray to find another way
From what was to come. Yet this faithful Son said, "Thy will be done."
No matter the cost, to save what was lost, His love for us plain, He knew all our pain
And sins yet to be. Though sinless was He, He suffered for all in agony none can recall.
So bitter a cup. Our way for to ease, He fell to His knees.
Bended knees as we pray will honor the way that Jesus the Christ all justice there sufficed.
With mercy and grace, all terror He faced, our sins to erase.
So humbly we bow, to reverently show our thanks and our love to God up above
For sending His Son to do what was done. That we might escape, a fearful and terrible fate,
He drank up the cup, In Gethsemane, upon bended knee.
