Certain women followed the Savior

As He taught disciples long ago,

Certain women loved and served Him

In ways that historys never told.

They rose before the dawn awoke

Going to the Garden Tomb

Where they beheld bright angels

In the Sunday morns shadowed gloom,

Then saw Jesus in the Upper Room.

Certain women opened their homes

For early Saints to meet,

Partake of sacrament

And learn at the apostles feet.

Then in the Book of Mormon,

Steadfast certain women there

The light of gospel truth did share,

That all men might know the Lord

And feel His tender loving care.

Believing in Joseph Smiths words

A prophet God called anew,

Came a new generation of women

Who accepted the Restorations truth.

For our day were called to be

Women of faith and certainty.

Standing for the right,

Valiant in the fight,

Certain women of God we will be;

Certain women of God we will be!
