My Redeemer is a well-known gospel hymn first published in 1877. It is also known by the first line of lyrics, "I will sing of my Redeemer." The tune by James McGranahan is interesting, because its rhythm is 9/8 for the verse and 12/8 for the chorus providing a lyrical, waltz-like feel to its touching words. This arrangement is an INTERMEDIATE PIANO SOLO in the keys of E flat and A flat major that also includes an interlude of Take the Name of Jesus With you composed by W. H. Doane.
