Big Rock Candy Mountain is arranged here as an Early Intermediate fiddle tune. This all time favorite folk tune can be dated back to the 1890s. It was recorded in 1928 by Harry McClintock and popularized in the 1930s by Woody Guthrie and in the 1960s by Pete Seeger. It is included in McIntire's series, Mountain Mommas Fiddle Tunes. Other tunes in the series include Whiskey Before Breakfast, West Fork Gals, and Kitchen Girl, all available at this web site.
