Product Description

The West Virginia Hills is the oldest of four songs adopted by the legislature of West Virginia as a state song. It was composed by H.E. Engle for the lyrics of Ellen King in 1886 and is still sung by West Virginians at gatherings and home comings. This arrangement provides four verses and chorus with an easy piano accompaniment. A similar song, West Virginia Hills, composed by D. B. Purinton, in 1877, is also available at this website.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
