This is a transcription from an original piece for solo cello. It is dedicated to my friend, Dr. Harold Levin. This is a very challenging piece based harmonically on the tension between the minor and major second. Double stops, tremolo (both right and left hand), harmonics, artificial harmonics, extended range, saltando and jete are some of the techniques that are employed.
