Glockenvogel for piano solo was composed in December 2008 in Geneva
(Switzerland). The piece is dedicated to María Luján Juárez.
Glockenvogel is the German name of the Procnias nudicollis, bare-throated Bellbird, a species
of bid found in most subtropical and tropical forests in Argentina, Brazil, and
Paraguay.
