korrupter Walzer is part of
a Salon Suite (a work in progress) together
with titles such as Dodeca-Mambo, Polka miseria,
Dekonstruktango, Gavota Pavota, Tse tse (a lullaby).
The korrupter Walzer was
composed in Cologne and Worpswede (Germany) between 14th and 18th April 2004. This
work, which duration is about 4 minutes, is dedicated to the Vienna flutist Cordula
Bösze.
Premiere: Angela Buitrago (flute) and Juan María Solare (piano), Theatre
of the University of Bremen, Tue 8th December 2009 (recital "eine sehr kurze
Geschichte des Tangos", a very short history of tango). Premiere of the version
for violin and piano: Gert Gondosch (violin) & Juan María Solare (piano) as
Duo Tangente on Thursday, 27th
