Product Description
The jazz pianist Errol
Garner originally wrote Misty in
1954 as an instrumental but when singer Johnny
Mathis heard the melody he encouraged Garner to come up with lyrics. Mathis
vocal recording in 1959 went on to sell over two million copies and it has
remained a popular favourite ever since.
This version contains the melody in both tab and notation, plus
the chords and lyrics. It can be used by players and teachers alike to play
either melody or accompaniment on EAGBDE standard tuning Guitar. This file contains two versions, one in the
original key of E flat, and, for less advanced guitarists, one in the easier
key of G. This arrangement also provides a good starting
place for an ensemble or group performance.
