Product Description

Over the Rainbow is the famous song written by Harold Arlen and sung by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz. It is often quoted and voted as one of the greatest and best loved songs of all time yet the producers had to fight the MGM bosses to include it in the final cut of the movie. This version includes the less-heard verse introduction, but performers wishing to play only the famous chorus can start instead at bar 25. This version is arranged as a duet for one Trumpet and one Trombone.

Musicians at an intermediate standard and above will find this ideal for formal and informal concert performances, with plenty of interest and variety in both parts. The overall performance time is just under three minutes. The short audio sample is from the Clarinet and Alto Saxophone version while the full length performance on the youtube link is the Clarinet duet.

Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to approach expressive and legato playing.
