With his 'Redemption Song' Jamaican singer Bob Marley wrote one of his most influential songs. By the time he was writing it, he had been diagnosed with cancer and was dealing with his own mortality. This arrangement by Luis Ernst brings the sad but hopeful sound of the 'Redemption Song' to the concert band setting, including an introductory solo by the 1st trombone.
