the erosion of time.

Far better remember
soft strokes of kindness,
moments of happiness,
Paling and fading.
The fine weft of living:
its intricate lace
patterns unravelling,
into the abyss.
Try to remember
the small subtleties
weve done and weve seen
in our time together.
