Product Description
As requested by the leader of a flute choir, here is a more atmospheric version of the Witches Recipe with added sound effects (eery wind blowing, tongue rams representing the ingredients plopping into the cauldron etc) and occasional spoken quotes from the original Shakespeare witches' chant.
Thrice the brinded cat hath mew'd.
Thrice and once, the hedgepig whin'd.
Harpier cries:-'tis time! 'tis time!
Round about the caul-dron go;
In the poi-son'd en-trails throw.
Toad, that un-der cold stone,
Days and nights has thirty one;
Swelter'd venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i' the charmed pot!
ALL. Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. (etc) "
(I have also added our family joke misquoting Shakespeare: Hubble bubble toil and trouble, witches' brew and I'll have a double!)
The pdf file contains score and parts.
