Product Description
Arrangement of Thomas Ford's famous madrigal. In verse 2 the top instrument enjoys some variations (divisions)
and in verse 3 the 4th and 3rd instruments take those variations in turn and the other parts move around.
The words of the original madrigal begin:
Since first I saw your face I resolvd
To honour and renown you;
If now I be disdaind I wish
My heart had never known you.
What I that loved and you that liked,
Shall we begin to wrangle?
No, no, no! my heart is fast
And cannot disentangle.
The pdf file contains score and parts.
The sound sample is an electronic preview.
