Product Description

The "bergamasca" was a lusty 16th-century dance depicting the allegedly awkward manners of the inhabitants of Bergamo, in northern Italy, where the dance supposedly originated.
These variations are an arrangement of my original cello and guitar version, which was based on one of the original bergamasca tunes.

The original version (with live performance from 1975) is also available on this site.

The pdf file contains score and parts.
The sound sample here is an electronic preview.
