Product Description
This is a short humorous atonal piece in which the piano provides 10 of the notes
in the 12-tone sequence (you might call them "double-pentatonic chords"),
whilst the flute "plugs in" the remaining 2 notes to complete the series of 12 notes.
Each set of 4 bars goes up one semitone four times and then the piece returns to
the original double-pentatonic chord.
By way of variation, from bar 22, the piano repeats the flute's introduction.
The pdf contains the score (piano with flute in reduced size) and the separate flute part
The sound sample is a performance by Nancy Tyler and Richard Riccardi.
